Preschool Children Screening Tests

Today's children are tomorrow's youth; caring for our children’s health is the responsibility of the family, the school and society as a whole. And because a healthy mind can only exist in a healthy body, we must ensure that we carry out the appropriate tests for children before they join the school to ensure their health.

As such, the following screening tests should not be neglected:

Complete Blood Picture:
To ensure that all blood elements and components including hemoglobin, red blood cells, white blood cells & blood platelets, are at their normal healthy levels; children with anemia cannot focus enough to study.

Random Blood Sugar:
Done to measure the level of sugar in the blood to ensure that a child is not diabetic.

Complete Urine Analysis:
To ensure the health of the child’s kidneys and to rule out the presence of any mineral, pus, blood, albumin or sugar.

Complete Stool Analysis:
To ensure the health of the gastrointestinal tract, healthy digestion and to rule out the presence of pus, blood or worms
