Precautions and Preparation

Please inform the receptionist or physician if you have recently taken iron treatment or undergone a blood transfusion.
Please inform the physician of the duration and dosage of any vitamins you are taking.
Fast for 8 hours; water is allowed. Please inform the physician if you are taking medications containing folic acid.
